BNP Paribas Polska has partnered with Snowdrop Solutions to make mobile banking more transparent by providing customers with clearer, enriched transaction information.

Every user of GOmobile, Bank BNP Paribas’ mobile banking app, is now able to see merchant logos displayed alongside their card transactions. This new feature makes everyday money management simpler and more visually engaging, while also adding another safeguard against fraud and scams that exploit company names resembling those of legitimate businesses.

The new feature in the GOmobile banking app was developed using the MRS API provided by Snowdrop Solutions. The API enriches transaction data with additional elements, allowing users to see the merchant’s name and logo instead of a technical merchant identifier.

The enhancement is also part of the bank’s ongoing efforts to continuously improve customer security. Given the increasing number of fraud attempts involving web addresses that closely resemble those of genuine, legitimate companies, displaying the merchant’s logo will provide an additional layer of verification and protection.

For many years, Bank BNP Paribas has focused on simplifying communication with its customers. Transaction information has long been an area with room for improvement, and the new feature introduced through the partnership with Snowdrop Solutions addresses this need perfectly. With familiar logos and accurate merchant names displayed, every transaction becomes easier to recognize and understand.

Merchant logos will appear automatically alongside transactions without the need to change any settings. Users simply need to update the GOmobile app. The latest version is already available for download from Google Play and the App Store. Existing users will also receive the update automatically through their device’s standard app update service.
